Leaders witness completion of the first phase of Kazakhstan's wind power component project

Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and China's Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang recently attended, via video link, the completion ceremony of the first phase of the wind power equipment components plant in Zhambyl Region, designed by CMCU Engineering Co., Ltd (CMCU), a subsidiary of Sinomach.

Located in the "Silk Road" Special Economic Zone in Chuhe city, the facility produces key components for wind power stations, including nacelles, hubs, and towers. Once operational, it will provide vital support to Kazakhstan's new wind power plants and contribute significantly to the country's green energy transition.

During project execution, CMCU overcame challenges such as an extended design cycle and complex coordination. The team delivered optimized solutions in site selection, master planning, foundation treatment, and structural design, while also providing on-site technical support throughout construction. These efforts ensured that the project was delivered on schedule and that the facility was ready for production, offering an important boost to Kazakhstan's renewable energy ambitions.
