Sinomach and China YTO Group honored by State Council

China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach) has won an award for organizational excellence and its subsidiary, China YTO Group Corporation, has been listed as a distinguished state-owned enterprise by the State Council.

Sinomach has been actively involved in various safety initiatives launched by the State Council during 2016.

The group developed specific arrangements and solutions to safety issues, based on its vast industrial experience. It has improved safety training for its employees and publicized its work regarding the importance of safety in industry. It also now schedules inspections to check possible hazards threatening the safety of production, and tries to find corresponding solutions. The company has also taken the time to practice emergency procedures with its staff to help build their confidence in dealing with emergency situations.

Statistics show that during a month dedicated to promoting safety, Sinomach has delivered safety training to 728 project managers, 4,461 team leaders, and 3,160 special operations workers along with 15,295 people involved in safety level III training. It has also inspected 256 construction projects, 632 production shops, and 483 offices throughout the company. The organization has achieved significant improvements and reforms related to 3,527 identified potential risks. The renewed focus on safety saw 7,589 people involved in 57 emergency system drills, 13,246 people involved in 268 special emergency programs, as well as 5,074 people involved in 164 site-specific emergency drills.

Sinomach’s subsidiary, China YTO Group Corporation, also called on its staff to constantly review posters and other information related to safety issues. Among safety issues that were identified during the safety inspections, the company has now rectified1,627 identified hazards regarding production, storage and the application of dangerous chemicals, operations in confined spaces, areas with high-levels of dust, construction and transportation.
