With the successful inauguration of No. 75 Village Hospital, the project has reached a historic milestone. Guyana, one of the earliest English-speaking Caribbean countries to establish diplomatic relations with China, has long maintained a close friendship with the nation. As the most significant livelihood initiative commemorating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and Guyana, and the first medical infrastructure project jointly undertaken by the two countries, the Regional Hospitals Project carries profound symbolic and practical importance.
August, the project was completed in just three months, establishing a robust healthcare network across multiple administrative regions of Guyana. In this short period of time, the hospitals have already treated more than 25,000 patients, assisted in over 220 births, and carried out more than 140 surgical procedures. A demonstration of both "Chinese speed" and "Chinese quality," the project has vividly illustrated the joint construction of a "Health Silk Road" between China and Guyana.

The Guyana Regional Hospitals Project also highlights CAMCE's commitment to the implementation of its 14th Five-Year Plan and its focus on international livelihood development. During project development, the initiative not only expanded into a new strategic market but also set a record for the shortest signing-to-effectiveness timeline in the company's history. Throughout execution, it stood as a model of the company's "integrated development" strategy, harnessing the combined strengths of CAMCE headquarters in business management, market development, and financing innovation; the specialized design expertise of China IPPR International Engineering Co., Ltd. in healthcare architecture; and the project management capabilities of Jingxing International. This multi-sector collaboration generated strong synergies and multiplied strategic benefits.

Today, the six modern hospitals have become new landmarks in Guyanese towns, symbolizing improved public welfare and serving as a concrete embodiment of Chinese technology and solutions in the Caribbean. The project has further optimized CAMCE's global market presence, enhanced its competitiveness in healthcare infrastructure, and delivered a landmark contribution to the company's 14th Five-Year Plan. Beyond infrastructure, the successful handover also deepens the enduring friendship and cooperation between China and Guyana, charting a new path for shared development in the years ahead.
