A delegation of 16 State-owned companies under the central government’s supervision, including Sinomach, and officials from the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council visited China-Belarus Industrial Park and promoted the park’s work on Aug 1.

The delegation unveiled nameplates for five companies setting up operations in the park, including YTO Belarus Technology Co, and witnessed the signing of several agreements, such as a project to build drones and an R&D center for green building materials.

The China-Belarus Industrial Park in Belarus is a joint venture under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.

Sinomach and its subsidiaries contributed greatly to the construction of the park. China IPPR International Engineering was responsible for the layout of the park. China CAMC Engineering built infrastructure for the first phase of the park, and the power-supply system was built by China Machinery Engineering.

Now Sinomach aims to encourage more subsidiaries to partner with businesses in Belarus and establish joint projects in the industrial park. YTO Group, one of the subsidiaries, will cooperate with Minsk Tractor Plant, the largest tractor manufacturer in Belarus, in equipping tractors with engines made by YTO through the YTO Belarus Technology Co.
