For the first time in China Chinese electric construction machinery has been officially used in commercial tunnel construction, a pretty major leap for domestic electric tunnel construction machinery.

The electric wheel loader and electric excavator were developed and produced by Sinomach subsidiary China Sinomach Heavy Industry Corporation (Sinomach-HI).
