China-built SBC headquarters project passes completion acceptance

The China-built new headquarters of the Seychelles Broadcasting Corporation (SBC) recently passed a completion acceptance of the Agency for International Economic Cooperation of China's Ministry of Commerce with high scores.

The newly-built SBC headquarters project was designed and managed by China IPPR International Engineering Co., Ltd. (IPPR), a subsidiary of China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC), a member company of Sinomach.

After its completion, the China-aided project will further improve the broadcasting and television infrastructural facilities in Seychelles, provide local broadcasting and television industry with a sound operational platform, meet the rising cultural demand of Seychelles people, and enrich their spiritual and cultural life.

SBC President said that the completion of the new headquarters project is a significant milestone in the development of the Seychelles broadcasting and television industry and is a symbol of long-term cooperation and friendship between the two countries.
During the construction process, the IPPR has taken into full consideration actual demands of the Seychelles people and local climate as well as environment, incorporated mountainous architectural design techniques into sea-view architectural design methods, effectively reduced vegetation destruction, made reservation for adequate growth room, and created a comfortable space for users to engage in exchanges.
