Zungeru hydropower plant project in Nigeria, undertaken by Sinomach, has installed another four generators, and the first has started operation. All construction has been completed, and is awaiting the handover.

The plant will satisfy the electricity consumption of two cities of the scale of Abuja, the capital of Nigeria. It plays an important role in relieving power shortages, enhancing the stability of the grid and improving the continuous power supply capacity.
