Uzbekistan Solar Power Plant Project Connected to the Grid

Recently, the Uzbekistan Saremey 100MW solar power plant project, contracted by Sinomach CMEC, successfully completed its reverse power transmission, marking significant progress in the project's construction. The project covers approximately 177 hectares and primarily includes a 100MWac solar power plant.
It connects to the existing 220kV substation in the local area through a newly built booster station and about 3.5 kilometers of transmission lines. Once operational, the project is expected to supply over 240 GWh of clean electricity to Uzbekistan's national grid annually, equivalent to meeting the annual electricity needs of about 60,000 people, and to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by at least 110,000 tons each year, contributing positively to local energy structure optimization and green, low-carbon development.
Guyana Solar-Storage Power Station Project's First Station, Onderneeming, Completed and Operational

Recently, the Onderneeming station, the first site of the Guyana Solar Storage Power Plant Project, was successfully completed and put into operation. The project, contracted by Sinomach SUMEC Complete Equipment & Engineering Co, is Guyana's largest solar photovoltaic project, consisting of five independent solar power stations with a total installed capacity of 18MW and a supporting 12MWh energy storage system. The operational Onderneeming station has an installed capacity of 5MW with a 7.5MWh energy storage system. It is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 5,000 tons annually, significantly lowering Guyana's overall electricity costs and dependence on fossil fuels. Since the project's inception, the project team has been meticulously organizing and planning, customizing the solar-storage capacity configuration scheme, strictly adhering to international engineering standards, and selecting top-quality solar modules, energy storage batteries, and inverters to ensure efficient project execution and early delivery of the first station, earning high praise from the Guyanese government and society.
BASF Shanshan Energy Storage Power Station Project Officially Operational

Recently, the BASF Shanshan energy storage power station project, the largest commercial and industrial energy storage project in Changsha,Hunan province, contracted by Sinomach SINOMACHINT, officially commenced operations. The project includes the installation of multiple energy storage battery prefabricated cabins and PCS step-up transformer complete sets, with a total capacity of 40MW/80MWh. Additionally, the project employs a technical route featuring lithium iron phosphate batteries paired with PCS, BMS, and EMS systems, operating under a peak-valley arbitrage model and energy management contract mechanism. It is expected to save about 590 tons of standard coal annually, creating an efficient "green power bank" for the enterprise. The project will serve as key infrastructure, significantly enhancing the grid regulation and power supply reliability at the power station's base, supporting BASF Shanshan's green production and the achievement of the 2050 net-zero emissions goal, and injecting strong momentum into regional energy upgrades.
