On Dec 5, China CAMC Engineering Co., Ltd. (CAMCE) signed an EPC turnkey commercial contract for the East Java Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Project with PT OTS International Indonesia, marking a new milestone in CAMCE's expansion into Indonesia's oil and gas sector.

At the signing ceremony, Tirta, chairman of the PT OTS, highlighted East Java's abundant resources and stated that the LNG project aligns with the region's energy transition goals. He expressed confidence that CAMCE's advanced technologies and high-end equipment would enhance East Java's energy industry and deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.

The project is a key step in CAMCE's efforts to explore new oil and gas opportunities in the Indonesian market. By leveraging its strengths in project execution, specialized management, and financing, CAMCE will ensure efficient project delivery, support Indonesia's energy security, and inject new momentum into China–Indonesia energy cooperation.

Once completed, the East Java LNG Project will enhance regional energy supply reliability and address the structural challenge of "adequate gas resources but insufficient gas infrastructure" in East Java. During implementation, CAMCE will uphold ESG principles, promote industrial upgrading and energy structure optimization, advance green and sustainable development, and create long-term value for its partners.
