CMEC delivers its first batch of grain hopper cars to clients in Argentina

CMEC recently delivered the first batch of narrow-gauge grain hopper cars for the Argentine railway market under an EPC general contracting led by CMEC headquarters. The project introduces Chinese-designed and manufactured braking systems compatible with existing Argentine rolling stock, tailored for the country's narrow-gauge network. Once operational, the new cars are expected to add 400,000 tons of annual carrying capacity to Argentina's railways, significantly improving agricultural logistics efficiency and enhancing the competitiveness of Argentine agricultural products in international markets, injecting new momentum into the country's freight rail system.

First gas injection into the world's largest underground salt cavern natural gas storage facility completes

China CAMC Engineering Co., Ltd. (CAMCE), a member of Sinomach Engineering Group, has completed the first gas injection at the Tuz Lake gas storage facility Phase II project in Turkiye, covering wells 14 (the first well), 15, and 20. All operational parameters of the system are currently stable. As a key energy strategy project for Turkiye, this facility will become the world's largest underground salt cavern gas storage site upon completion, significantly easing domestic oil and gas supply pressures. To ensure smooth gas injection, the project team closely coordinated with consortium partners, main equipment suppliers, and commissioning units, planned in advance and implemented detailed measures, laying a solid foundation for subsequent project acceptance and handover.
