New contracts signed as SUMEC MARINE sets sail for further growth

Recently, SUMEC MARINE Co., Ltd., a core subsidiary of SUMEC under China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach), secured new shipbuilding contracts for two 3.0 version Crown 63 bulk carriers and four 3,100 TEU feeder container vessels. These signings mark another significant step in the company's global expansion strategy and the continuous enhancement of its product portfolio.

Partnership with ITOCHU Corporation for bulk carriers

SUMEC MARINE signed a contract with ITOCHU Corporation for two 3.0 version Crown 63 bulk carriers. This agreement follows the successful delivery of two bulk carriers from their previous collaboration last year. The renewed cooperation highlights ITOCHU's strong confidence in SUMEC MARINE and its high recognition of the Crown series, a flagship brand well regarded by international shipowners for its advanced design and reliable quality.

Long-term collaboration with Chartworld and TMA

SUMEC MARINE also entered into contracts with Chartworld and TMA for the construction of four 3,100 TEU feeder container vessels, two for each company. Both shipowners are long-standing partners, with fleets spanning bulk carriers, container ships, and oil tankers. Previous projects with Chartworld and TMA have been delivered to wide acclaim, demonstrating SUMEC's ability to meet the highest standards of construction and performance.
