In his meeting with Nsue, Zhang shared the group's overall development strategy, with particular emphasis on the longstanding presence and contributions of its subsidiaries such as China Machinery Engineering Corporation, which has been active in the Equatorial Guinean market for nearly two decades.

Zhang also highlighted the group's extensive participation in the construction and operation of modern power infrastructure in Equatorial Guinea, noting the high-level mutual trust established with the Equatorial Guinean government.

Building on this foundation, he expressed the group's commitment to leveraging its capabilities in industrial construction and advanced equipment across sectors such as agricultural machinery, forestry, textiles and geology to support Equatorial Guinea in achieving its greater agricultural modernization and industrial development.

These efforts aim to improve local livelihoods and contribute to the high-quality advancement of the Belt and Road Initiative, as well as the broader goal of building a China-Africa community with a shared future.
