2025-03-05The core project of Türkiye's Lake Tuz gas storage expansion, undertaken by China CAMC Engineering Co, a subsidiary of Sinomach, is complete.
Located in Aksaray Province, Türkiye, the Lake Tuz underground gas storage expansion project began construction in 2020. It aims to increase the underground gas storage capacity from 1.2 billion cubic meters to 5.4 billion cubic meters. Once completed, the project will significantly enhance Türkiye's natural gas storage and transportation capacity, alleviate local energy supply pressures, and contribute to the country's clean energy security.
