Zhang Xiaolun attends APEC CEO Summit and visits Sinomach projects in Peru

2024-11-18Zhang Xiaolun, chairman of Sinomach, visited Lima, Peru, from November 13 to 15 to participate in the APEC CEO Summit.
During his visit, Zhang attended a symposium hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) in collaboration with prominent Peruvian organizations, including the Peruvian Exporters Association, the Lima Chamber of Commerce, the Peruvian Foreign Trade Association, the Peruvian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, and the National Association of Industries of Peru. The symposium focused on strengthening ties and enhancing economic and trade cooperation between Chinese and Peruvian businesses.

Zhang also inspected the Lima Three Regions Water Project undertaken by Sinomach's subsidiary, China Machinery Engineering Corporation. He held discussions with representatives from affiliated companies operating in Peru, such as China CAMC Engineering Co and SUMEC, gaining deeper insights into their operations. Zhang outlined work priorities for the companies and extended his gratitude to the dedicated employees working on the frontlines of these projects.

The Lima Three Regions Water Project, the largest such initiative to be launched in Peru in recent years, is set to provide clean water to over 400,000 low- and middle-income residents, demonstrating significant social impact.
