The groundbreaking ceremony of the regional hospital project in Guyana, constructed by Sinomach subsidiary China CAMC Engineering Co Ltd (CAMCE), was recently held. Guyanese President Mohamed Irfaan Ali and Chinese Ambassador to Guyana Guo Haiyan attended the ceremony.

CAMEC works with China Sinopharm International Corporation to undertake the Regional Hospital Project. It plans to build six regional hospitals in Guyana, including design, equipment procurement, construction, installation and commissioning, which will effectively improve local medical and health quality after its completion.
