Sinomach inks $1.9b import procurement deals at CIIE

The signing ceremony of Sinomach Trading Sub-group at the fourth China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held on November 6 in Shanghai. Sinomach signed 11 import procurement contracts with 11 partners covering high-end equipment, imported automobiles, service, bulk commodities and food and agricultural products, with a total contract value of 1.89 billion US dollars.

Sinomach, a leading central enterprise in import purchasing, has continued to "develop its strengths to serve the country", and to work with partners from all over the world to energize industrial upgrading and structural optimization of the equipment manufacturing industry. It has introduced a large number of high-end equipment products with a total import and export volume of 192.7 billion US dollars, including 88.6 billion dollars in import purchases.

The company has signed 61 contracts worth nearly 17 billion US dollars since the first expo. With the joint efforts of all parties involved, the signed cooperation agreements have made smooth progress and led to win-win results.

Achieving China's "dual carbon" goals and low-carbon concept

Stabilizing industrial and supply chains

In addition, Sinomach has cooperated with the Minsk Regional Executive Committee on beef imports which are expected to reach 4,000 tons per year. The company also renewed a five-year vehicle import and sales agreement with Aston Martin, an iconic luxury British sports car manufacturer to further bilateral cooperation.

As one of the most important partners of the CIIE, Sinomach invited 19 exhibitors to the Technical Equipment Exhibition Area at this year's event. In addition, a partner of CIIE, SUMEC DATIANXIA, an online global trading service platform for equipment established by Sinomach subsidiary SUMEC International Technology Co, will invite its overseas high-end equipment manufacturing agents to participate in the next CIIE, and also guide professional buyers to sign purchase contracts.
