Lanpec equipment on standby for renovation of a natural gas processing facility in Tanzania

A three-phase separator, which was designed and produced by Sinomach subsidiary Shanghai Lanbin Petrochemical Equipment Co Ltd (Lanpec) for renovation and upgrading project of a natural gas processing facility in Tanzania, was recently delivered to the owner. The company has now completed the delivery of all equipment ordered by the project, along with most of the supplies.

The natural gas plant is located on Songo Songo Island, off the coast of Southern Tanzania. It has been in service since 2009. With increasing demand for gas for power generation, the natural gas resources are running out, and the compressors must be urgently added to the plant for pressurized mining.

Lanpec has supplied three phase separators, a filter separator, gas engines and air blowers, 24 buffer tanks and separators for three sets of compressors, as well as steel work, pipeline materials and other major equipment.

After completion, the plant's natural gas production will stabilize at 1.05 million cubic feet (29,732.64 cubic meters) per day to ensure that downstream natural gas power plants are capable of generating enough electricity for Dar es Salaam.

The project is expected to be concluded by the end of this year.

Cambodian Tatay Hydropower Project more than meets power generation target for 7 years

The Cambodian Tatay Hydropower Project, undertaken by Sinomach subsidiary China National Heavy Machinery Corporation (CHMC), had generated 850 million kilowatt-hours of electricity this year, exceeding the project's designed average annual generating capacity 99 days ahead of schedule.

As a pillar of the state grid of Cambodia, the hydropower station has more than met its annual power generation task for seven years.
