The foundation stone laying ceremony for Sinomach’s torch park construction project was held in the China-Belarus Industrial Park on May 12, the fifth anniversary of the inspection tour by the leaders of China and Belarus to the park.

China IPPR International Engineering Co (IPPR), a subsidiary of Sinomach, is in charge of the project’s design planning. According to the characteristics of the land, the overall planning and design of the project was in the shape of a flexible curve as the "bond" to link each building, carrying the idea that more Chinese enterprises will step into the China-Belarus Industrial Park and then into the world led by the Belt and Road Initiative.

The orthogonal-designed exhibition center, located in the southernmost part of the torch park, appears like “a red cornerstone”, symbolizing that China and Belarus enjoy relations of solid cooperation and profound friendship.

The project covers a total area of about six hectares and has a planned investment of 30 million dollars in the first phase, which started construction right after the groundbreaking ceremony and is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2021.

It aims to create a pilot area for overseas research and development, technology and innovation by Sinomach. It will also take more Chinese high-tech park enterprises global, promote cooperation on scientific and technological resources between China and Eurasian countries such as Belarus, Russia and Ukraine, and lead to resource sharing between European Union countries and an increase in industrialization of scientific research results.

The China-Belarus Industrial Park is a project of great concern to the governments of the two countries. Sinomach’s torch park will become the center of science and technology innovation in the park, leading resident enterprises to a higher level of development.
