China National Erzhong Group, also known as China Erzhong, received spotlight coverage for its ultrahigh voltage (UHV) simulation test facility on Dec 11.

A number of the country’s major media outlets including, People.cn and Xinhua News Agency, gave a report about this project.

The project, which began construction this August, is the world’s largest UHV simulation facility designed to be set in the deep sea, with the greatest operating pressure. At the present, the project has finish forging an ancillary frame.

As a part of the State’s key deep ocean R&D program, it will facilitate the nation’s research and manufacturing of ultrahigh voltage testing devices and speed up China’s exploration for resources under the deep sea.
