Sinomach signs agreement with CGN

China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach) reached a strategic agreement with China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN) to work on further joint projects at a signing ceremony in Beijing on Nov 24.

According to the document, the two sides will work together in R&D, clean energy, capital management and sectors for global expansion.

Sinomach’s chairman, Ren Hongbin, promised to provide the best products and services for CGN and said that he expected further cooperation on overseas projects and capital management.

He Yu, chairman of CGN, also emphasized the importance of increasing collaboration between state-owned firms.

China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN), founded in 1994, is a large company with businesses focused on the development of clean energies such as nuclear power, nuclear fuel, wind power, and solar power.

As of the end of July 2016,CGN’s total assets amounted to around 470 billion yuan ($70.7 billion).

CGN is the largest nuclear power operator in China and is the largest nuclear power facilities construction firm in the world.
