CNEEC Indonesia SUMSEL-5 (2x150MW) Pithead Coal-fired Power Plant Project Commenced Construction

On May 23rd, the commencement ceremony for the SINOMACH-affiliated CNEEC Indonesia SUMSEL-5 (2x150MW) Pithead Coal-fired Power Plant Project was officially held at the project site in the Musi Banyuasin Regency of Indonesia. This project is the CNEEC's fourth project in Indonesia, following the INDRAMAY project, AWAR-AWAR project and BENJASRAY project. The successful commencement of this project indicates that CNEEC has taken its market expansion in Indonesia and even the entire Southeast Asia region to new heights.

The SUMSEL-5 (2x150MW) Pithead Coal-fired Power Plant Project is located in the Musi Banyuasin Regency of South Sumatra Province of the Republic of Indonesia.

The power plant will be equipped with 2×580t/h coal-fired circulating fluidized bed boilers and 2×175 MW (gross output) reheat condensing steam turbine generator units as well as the auxiliary systems, 275kV switching station and 6km of 275kV power transmission and transformation west line and south line each. The power outlet of the plant is boosted to 275kV through the booster station in the plant before being supplied to the state grid of Indonesia. The project has great significance to the local economic development of Indonesia.
