In February 2007, China National Automotive Industry Import & Export Corporation (CAIEC) formally signed the contract for the export of Yuchai diesel engines with UNECAMOTO, the largest automobile industry group in Cuba . According to the contract, CAIEC will export to UNECAMOTO 20,000 units of Yuchai diesel engines in 2007 and 2008.
        UNECAMOTO is affiliated to the Ministry of Communication of Republic of Cuba and is the largest production and marketing group for the automotive industrial equipment in Cuba. CAIEC has been working together with this Cuban corporation for many years and as far as the scale of the cooperation is concerned, this is the largest in the history of the cooperation between the two sides.
