Zhang Xiaolun, chairman of Sinomach, met with Carlos Miguel Pereira, the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to China, who visited the company on Jan 18. They exchanged views on further deepening bilateral economic and trade cooperation.
Carlos expressed his gratitude to Sinomach for its long-term support of the development of Cuba and hoped that the company and its subordinate enterprises will continue to participate in Cuba’s economic advancement.
Under new situations and circumstances, the two sides should further consolidate and deepen bilateral cooperation and tighten up their long-standing ties, he added.
Zhang noted that Sinomach regards Cuba as one of its target overseas markets and has been working with its partners in Cuba for a long time, and the two sides have made great contributions to the China-Cuba relationship.
He indicated that the company will plan long-term cooperation together with Cuban enterprises and make joint efforts to benefit Cuba’s economic development and the well-being of local people.
Sinomach has shared a solid cooperative relation with Cuba in sectors such as electric power, agricultural machinery, engineering machinery, sugar equipment, agricultural products and pesticides and the chemical industry, adding momentum to Cuba’s economic development.
