Sinomach subsidiary China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) has achieved a major milestone as their Jhang combined cycle power station in Pakistan successfully completed a rigorous 168-hour reliability test. Matching every requirement outlined in its engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract, the power station's seamless performance has set a new benchmark in the industry.

The Jhang power station, with an impressive capacity of 1,263 megawatts, proved its mettle during the extensive reliability test. All units operated flawlessly, showcasing exceptional performance throughout the entire duration. During the test, the net output of the Jhang power station reached a remarkable 1,244.21 megawatts, demonstrating its exceptional capacity to meet the high electricity demand of the region.
