China National Electric Engineering Co Ltd (CNEEC), a subsidiary of Sinomach, is working with Singapore’s Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) to build a biogas furnace for the waste-to-energy facility as part of the first phase of its construction.

The project shows that the company has achieved a breakthrough in the high-end market, and made great headway in integrated waste treatment.

The IWMF is set to be an engineering marvel in the world of solid waste management. It realizes the comprehensive resource utilization of waste, with the problems of coking and deposition settled, and improves the efficiency of power plants as well as their energy utilization. When completed it will be the largest garbage power plant in Southeast Asia.

The CNEEC team responsible for building the IWMF’s biogas furnace will spare no effort to speed up progress and ensure that all tasks are completed on time and with quality. The company, taking the cooperation as an opportunity, will enhance its efforts to develop the Singaporean market and generate positive business results.

Aimed at maximizing both energy and resource recovery in solid waste, the IWMF, an integral part of Singapore’s long-term plan to meet its solid waste management needs, will enable the country to reap the benefits of waste-to-energy.
