Sinomach boosts mechanized farming and helps grain harvests

This year's yield of summer crops has reached a record high, for both the yield per unit area and the total output. In the Huang-Huai-Hai region, which is the main summer grain producing area, the grain loss rate of wheat harvesters has fallen by 1 percent, equivalent to an increase in the yield of 2,000 square kilometers of wheat.

The primary reason for such good results is the application of agricultural machines, including those developed by Sinomach. As a front-runner in China's agricultural machinery equipment manufacturing, the company gives full play to its strengths and takes active action to help in modern agricultural development.

Sinomach subsidiary the YTO Group Corporation (YTO) has built up a perfect service assurance network for its self-developed wheat harvesters and balers. It reserved more than 1,000 varieties of fittings, in case of need, for consumers in Henan, Hebei, Shangdong and Anhui provinces. In addition, mobile vehicles were teamed up to transport necessary machine parts, especially for harvesters involved in cross-regional operations.

The "Dongfanghong" combine-harvesters are proficient at loss-cutting. As the capability of gathering has been greatly enhanced, the combine-harvesters aim for "no kernels or seeds being skipped".

The unmanned "Dongfanghong" harvesters and tractors installed with the wheat harvester system developed by Agcore Technologies, a leading company in agricultural sciences, have realized the functions of high-precision positioning, automatic lifting and landing of farm tools, automatic hydraulic control and automatic turning, which frees up the labor force and improves the quality and efficiency of field operations.

A large amount of straw will be left after the mass harvesting. The Hohhot branch of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Mechanization Sciences (CAAMS), an affiliate of Sinomach, has produced a "Huade" baler that will help local farmers collect and recycle straw resources and increase their income.

This year, nearly 100,000 "Huade" balers participated in three summer jobs: planting, harvesting and field management, sweeping up the straw left behind at a high speed.

CAAMS Menoble worked with its dozens of service providers to conduct the installation and debugging of the potato planters, potato harvesters and silage harvesters, as well as their troubleshooting and maintenance, in Gansu, Hebei, Shandong, Anhui, Henan, Heilongjiang, Ningxia and Shaanxi provinces as well as the Xinjiang Uygur and the Inner Mongolia autonomous regions. Various parts and components were all prepared in advance to ensure that crops could be planted and harvested as planned.

The potato planter developed by CAAMS Menoble is capable of completing all seeding operations in one go, including ditching, spraying, fertilizing, sowing and ridging.

The innovative method of seed-taking, along with flexible transportation technology and the micro-vibration effect produced by high-frequency motors, has been applied to the planter, which greatly increases the seeding efficiency and significantly saves labor and reduces production costs.

The seed leakage and replanting rates have both been cut, improving productivity and comprehensive benefits.
