New Dayang Shipbuilding gets off to flying start

New Dayang Shipbuilding Co, affiliated to Sinomach subsidiary SUMEC Group Corporation (SUMEC), recently delivered two ships to China Development Bank Financial Leasing Co Ltd (CDB Leasing) successively, building up momentum for its development.

New Dayang Shipbuilding delivered a Crown 63K bulk carrier to CDB Leasing on Jan 7. It was the first order delivered by New Dayang Shipbuilding in 2021, a good start to the company’s new journey.

New Dayang Shipbuilding delivered a 63,500 deadweight ton bulk carrier DY164 to CDB Leasing on Jan 19. The DY164 was the sixth vessel delivered in the series and the second to be delivered by the shipbuilder so far this year.
 
New Dayang Shipbuilding plans to build 16 Crown 63K bulk carrier vessels for CDB Leasing. From the end of October 2020 when the first ship was delivered to date six vessels were delivered and the remaining ones will be completed within the year. The two sides have previously cooperated in production of seven Crown 82K bulk carriers.
 
As a new year begins, New Dayang Shipbuilding can celebrate a booming business. It currently has 32 orders, with 19 to be delivered in 2021.
