The Auto Aftermarket Guangzhou (AAG 2020) and Rematec Asia 2020 organized by China National Machinery Industry International Co (Sinomachint), a subsidiary of Sinomach, was held from Oct 11 to 13 in Guangzhou, capital city of south China’s Guangdong province.

As the largest exhibition for the automobile aftermarket in south China, the show embraced opportunities for developing the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), accelerated the transformation and upgrading of related enterprises, and injected vitality into the integrated development of domestic and foreign trade.

With a total exhibition area of 60,000 square meters, the event welcomed 1,028 exhibitors who showed their competitive products in auto parts, vehicle refitting and supplies and vehicle repair and maintenance.

As a professional remanufacturing exhibition at the world level, the show brought together excellent enterprises in the industry, showing the most cutting-edge products and technical concepts in the after-sales market and facilitating China’s advance in the remanufacturing industry.

The show explores a new model for China-EU green cooperation, builds a growth engine for circular economy

The leaders of China and the EU had previously reached a consensus on green cooperation, agreeing to meet global challenges and conduct exchanges on renewable energy sources and clean technologies. The China-EU green cooperation is becoming a focus of the China-EU comprehensive strategic partnership and a highlight with greater global influence.

The world today is paying closer attention to protecting the Earth’s environment, building a circular economy and maintaining sustainable social and economic development. In that context, the remanufacturing industry, especially of motor vehicle parts, continues to catch a lot of attention.

Remanufacturing is an effective means of dealing with environmental problems, a breakthrough in efficient recycling of resources and an important bolster for development of a circular economy.

China’s mechanical and electronic industry led by the auto sector has continued to satisfy upgraded patterns of consumption, and the national strategies for energy and environmental protection have been further implemented. In 2020, China’s auto parts remanufacturing will enter a new stage of large-scale and standardized development.

High-level talks help decision-makers, industry bodies and enterprises communicate with each other

China has introduced policies and measures to promote scale production and standardized development of the domestic auto parts remanufacturing industry.

To ensure its healthy development it is a must to learn the advanced experience and technologies of the same industry in other countries. Exchanges with the EU in auto remanufacturing policies, technologies and markets will greatly contribute to the industry’s development in China.

A summit was held before the exhibition to study the impact of policies on the auto parts remanufacturing industry and further strengthen industrial exchanges between the two sides.

At the summit, policy-makers gave an in-depth explanation of the latest content of remanufacturing industrial policy and sorted out the focuses of interest in the market. Reflecting the support of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China and the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, the summit also attracted the active participation of foreign-funded remanufacturing enterprises such as Audi, Honda, Volkswagen, Encory, Cummins and Volvo, providing a communication platform for Chinese and European auto makers.

Sinomachint cooperated with the RAI Amsterdam Convention Center in the Netherlands to bring the world-famous remanufacturing exhibition brand Rematec to China, having built up Rematec Asia in Guangzhou and taken the lead in responding to the national plan for the development of the remanufacturing industry in the GBA.

The exhibition combined the integration of market, technology and industry, summarized the research results, paid continuous attention to a wider range of services, and injected new vitality into the trade and technical exchanges of the industry. It created a good environment and provided strong support for the development of China's remanufacturing industry.
