Song Xin, deputy Party secretary of China National Machinery Industry Co (Sinomach), visited Shanxi province from July 11 to 12.

During the trip, he inspected the poverty reduction work carried out by Sinomach in Pinglu county, including the group’s performance in 2018 and its work plan for 2019.

Sinomach has established a “poverty reduction factory” in the county’s Nanwu village, which consists of production lines of wheat, millet and peanut, and a packing workshop.

The company also set up an e-commerce trade center in the county to help local farmers sell their agricultural products.

During his visit, Song expressed his approval for the working mode to increase farmers’ income and put forth some suggestions on the management of the factory.

The delegation headed by Song also visited a modern agricultural industrial park under construction in Houdi village, where Song learned about the construction plan and budget of the project.
