Bai Shaotong, deputy general manager of China National Machinery Industry Co (Sinomach), visited the headquarters of Dongfang Electric Co (DEC) in Chengdu, capital of Southwest China's Sichuan province, on May 14.

Yu Peigen, general manager of DEC, offered a warm welcome to Bai before they began discussing cooperation between the two sides.

At the meeting, Yu briefed attendees on DEC’s current state of operations and introduced them to the projects it is involved in. He also reviewed the company’s partnership with Sinomach and expressed hope that the two parties would deepen cooperation and work together to promote the development of China’s equipment industry.

All cooperation projects are currently coming along smoothly, said Bai. He also said that Sinomach is willing to explore new modes of cooperation with DEC.

During the trip, Bai also visited DEC’s hydrogen fuel cell automatic production lines and took a ride on a hydrogen fuel cell bus independently developed by the company.
