China CAMC Engineering Co, a subsidiary of China National Machinery Industry Co (Sinomach), signed an agreement with Gandharbpur Water Treatment SNC (Bangladesh Branch) on April 12 to build a water treatment plant in Dhaka, capital of Bangladesh. It will be designed to produce 500,000 cubic meters of clean water daily.

Construction work is expected to last 42 months and cost $66.42 million.
