Bai Shaotong, deputy general manager of China National Machinery Industry Co (Sinomach) took part in the CEO Roundtable in Beijing on March 25.

The event was organized by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission and the United Nations Global Compact, with a focus on corporate responsibility in Belt and Road Initiative projects, as well as the importance of delivering mutual benefits.

More than 100 representatives from domestic and international firms and organizations attended the meeting.

During the event, Bai delivered a speech on behalf of Sinomach, outlining some of the company’s Belt and Road projects.

He also argued that improved communication between Chinese and foreign companies would help promote sustainable economic and social development across the world.
