Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the construction sites of a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) production complex and a nitric acid factory in Navoiy, Uzbekistan, on March 12.

Both projects are being built by China CAMC Engineering Co, a subsidiary of China National Machinery Industry Co (Sinomach).

During the trip, Mirziyoyev learned about the progress of work at the two sites and praised CAMC for its professionalism and efficiency.

These two projects will play a significant role in promoting local economic and social development and I hope they can start operations as soon as possible, he said.
