Coffee lovers in South China were treated to the 2nd Hainan International Coffee Congress and Beverage Expo which opened at Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center, on Nov 16.
The expo was sponsored by Hainan Commerce Department and China National Machinery Industry International Co (Sinomachint), a holding subsidiary of China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach).
Visitors to the expo were able to visit seven different areas at the event, with zones for international coffee brands, equipment and other beverages. A total of 155 coffee companies from 28 countries and 130 Chinese businesses exhibited their products at the expo, across a total exhibition area of 13,200 square meters.
More than 50 envoys to China from 30 countries attended various forums during the event, with discussions taking place about the development of the coffee industry around the world.
