A meeting was held by China National Electric Engineering Co Ltd (CNEEC) and China Jikan Research Institute of Engineering Investigation and Design Co Ltd (JK Institute) on Oct 24.

Organized by China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC), the meeting was held to discuss how to promote the coordinated development of the different sections of CMEC's business. Zhang Wei, vice-president of the JK Institute, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

Zhang affirmed the achievements made by CNEEC and the institute in strategic cooperation and in expanding technical capacity over the past few years. Strengthening internal coordination, he said, is one of the major tasks identified by CMEC, which is committed to mutually-beneficial development.

At the meeting, CNEEC and the JK Institute both introduced their current organizational structure and operations. The two sides discussed areas for future cooperation, and put forward suggestions on enhancing their coordination in the future.
