GE chairman visits Sinomach

A delegation headed by John L. Flannery, chairman and CEO of General Electric Company (GE), visited the headquarters of Sinomach in Beijing on July 9.

Ren Hongbin, chairman of Sinomach, extended a warm welcome to the delegation and discussed with Flannery the possibility of strengthening cooperation in infrastructure construction and expanding the market, especially in the countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.

During the meeting, they also attended a signing ceremony for cooperation between GE and China Machinery Engineering Co (CMEC), a subsidiary of Sinomach, for a wind power project in Kenya and an electric power station project in Pakistan.
