The 2018 National Ice and Snow Industry Development Conference took place in Zhangjiakou, North China’s Hebei province, on April 17. Zeng Xiangdong, deputy general manager of Sinomach, attended the conference.

The event was organized by the national General Administration of Sport and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, with the aim of promoting the high-quality development of ice and snow industry.

Zhangjiakou won the bid to co-host the 2022 Winter Olympic Games with Beijing in 2015. The conference stressed that companies and governments of all levels should grasp the great opportunity and participate in the field.

Lists of key products and equipment standards of the ice and snow industry were released at the conference. Meanwhile, an industrial league was also established.
