China Pufa Machinery Industry Co, a subsidiary of Sinomach, will establish a base in Shanghai Lingang Area, according to an agreement signed at a conference held by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) and the Shanghai government in the municipality on Aug 28.
Liu Jingzhen, deputy general manager of Sinomach, took part in the conference as a representative of central State-owned enterprises, and witnessed the signing ceremony.
The conference was aimed at promoting the construction of a world-class innovation center for science and technology in Shanghai, covering intelligent manufacturing, biomedicine, new energy and marine engineering equipment.
During the meeting, Shanghai government also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with SASAC to establish a long-term partnership, and to attract more key projects of central SOEs to Shanghai.
