Hi-Tech officially merged with Sinomach

China Hi-Tech Group officially merged with China National Machinery Industry Co (Sinomach) as its subsidiary at a merging conference in Beijing on Au 15.

Senior executives of both companies and officials of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) took part in the event.

Liu Qiang, deputy director of SASAC, expressed warm congratulations to the successful combination and set out his requirements for future development.

“First, Sinomach and Hi-Tech should be clear about the significance of the combination,” said Liu.

“It plays a vital role in deepening reform of State-owned enterprises and promoting the construction of world-class businesses.”

According to Liu, the two companies should integrate with each other as quickly as possible, to ensure steady growth after the merger.
