Ding Hongxiang, deputy general manager of Sinomach, took part in the opening ceremony of the 2017 China International New-energy, Energy-saving and Intelligent Automobile Exhibition in Guangzhou on July 21.
During the exhibition, Ding met with Fan Xinhong, deputy mayor of Guilin, a top tourist destination in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.
Both sides exchanged ideas on future cooperation in promoting the development of the exhibition economy in Guilin.
“New-energy and intelligent automobiles have a promising future,” said Ding, speaking at a previous conference.
“It requires accurate and comprehensive analysis on the development trends of the industry and good business acumen when it comes to operations,” he added.
The three-day event was sponsored by Sinomach Group and State-owned Enterprise Electric Vehicle Industry Alliance, and covered an area of 35,000 square meters.
More than 110 companies from China, Germany, the United States, the UK, Canada, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Macao participated in the exhibition, which was estimated to have attracted 55,000 visitors.
