Sinomach chairman urges Party building during visit to Kenya

Shi Ke, chairman of China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach), recently made an inspection tour of branches of State-owned enterprises in Kenya and attended a symposium on the development of Chinese-invested companies in the African nation. 

Shi was in Kenya from May 31 to June 6. At the symposium on June 1, Shi gave brief details about Sinomach's international business and in which fields the company had taken part in China's Belt and Road Initiative.

He also spoke about Sinomach's experiences in Party building work overseas and how the company had improved supervision of its overseas projects.

Shi praised the achievements of China Camc Engineering Co (CCEC) had made in development and team building when attending a symposium in the company’s Kenyan representative office. He noted the importance of enhancing Party building work abroad and called for stronger connections between Party building and corporate culture.

On June 4, Shi visited the China-Belarus industrial park in Belarus. He also listened to reports from China Machinery Engineering Corporation and CCEC about their businesses in Kenya. He urged all staff members to spare no efforts to develop the China-Belarus industrial park project.

On June 5, Shi visited a pulp mill project in Belarus and gave high praise of the energy conservation design and automated technologies being used there.
