Ren Hongbin, chairman of China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach), met with Heilongjiang province’s governor Lu Hao during his visit to the province’s capital Harbin to attend the Integration and Exchange Seminar on the Integrated Development of Heilongjiang Province and Centrally-Administered SOEs from Sept 22 to 23.

During the meeting, Ren briefed Lu on Sinomach’s business operations in Heilongjiang and pledged to accelerate the company’s restructuring, reforms to its incentive mechanisms, efforts to commercialize its research and development, and product competitiveness.

Lu expressed his appreciation for Sinomach. He then outlined the province’s efforts to commercialize its research findings, create new growth points in the local economy, and push forward the region’s economic transition.

The two sides also discussed their joint projects to set up a Great Northern Wilderness branch of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Mechanization Sciences, reform Sinomach’s subsidiaries including Harbin Power System Engineering and Research Institute Co, and build new big data and cloud computing platforms.
