China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) won the GoldenBee Good Overseas CSR Practice award at the 11th Global Corporate Social Responsibility Forum: China and the 2015 GoldenBee CSR China Honor Roll unveiling ceremony held on June 6 to 7 in Beijing.

CMEC won the award for the Bielizof Power Plant, a 427MW combined-cycle power project it built in Belarus.

CMEC has been actively exploring ways to fulfill its overseas corporate social responsibility during its expansion to international markets. Its commitment to corporate social responsibility was considered in the 2015 GoldenBee Competitive CSR Practice award selection.

Sponsored by the China WTO Tribune, CSR Europe, the Council for Better Corporate Citizenship, and the Society for Human Resources Management, and with a theme of "development driven by responsible innovation", this year's Global Corporate Social Responsibility Forum in China discussed new topics, development and tendencies concerning CSR around the world. More than 300 attendees, including domestic and foreign government officials, business representatives, experts, scholars and journalists participated in the ceremony.
