During a visit to Botswana, Africa, March 17-23, Xie Biao, vice president of the China National Machinery Industry Corp (Sinomach), held talks with the country’s mineral water resources department, and with leaders of the electric power company, where the Chinese reached agreements on 150MW coal-fired power plant project undertaken by the China National Electric Engineering Corp, a subsidiary of Sinomach, with Zheng Zhuqiang, China's ambassador to Botswana, taking part.
