Ren Hongbin, chairman of China National Machinery Industry Corporation, or Sinomach, met with Serbian President Tomislav Nikoli in Beijing on Aug 30. They witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on a Kragujevac meat products processing project.

President Nicoli said he welcomed Sinomach and China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC)’s investment in Serbia, and he expected both sides to cooperate in other areas.

Ren briefed the meeting on the Kostolac Power Station and Kragujevac meat products processing projects, and expressed his appreciation of the long-term support and assistance of the Serbian government to Sinomach and the CMEC.

The President came to Beijing to view China’s grand military parade marking the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II.

Li Manchang, China’s ambassador to Serbia, Xie Biao, vice president of Sinomach and other corporate leaders also attend the meeting.
