President Xu Jian Visits Cuba, Mexico, Columbia, Venezuela, and France for Investigations

From May 18 to June 1, President Xu Jian led a delegation that visited Cuba, Mexico, Columbia, Venezuela, and France to investigate some overseas engineering (trade) projects and companies of SINOMACH Group. The delegation investigated market environments for overseas operations of the Group, helped enterprises coordinate and address difficulties and issues encountered in overseas operations, inspected and guided the execution of projects under construction, strengthened the risk management and control and safe production management in overseas operations, and promoted synergistic marketing among affiliated enterprises.

President Xu Jian attended the special seminars and experience sharing activities that Mr. Shao Ning, Deputy Director of SASAC, organized for senior Cuban government officials regarding reforms of Chinese state-owned enterprises. Mr. Jian also met with the Group’s trade partners and high-ranking government officials in Cuba. In Mexico City, President Xu Jian listened to YTO Group’s report on the status of operations in Mexico and talked to Mexican distributors. He inspected the CUC engineering project site in Columbia and visited the Deputy Chief Counsellor of Missions, Economics, and Commerce for the Chinese Embassy in Columbia. At the Venezuela site, President Xu Jian cut the ribbon for the opening ceremony for the CMEC Venezuela Zulia Emergency Power Generation Project and then inspected the CAMCE 比西亚 Integrated Power Project site and listened to a briefing by CAMCE and CMEC regarding the status of operations in the Venezuelan market. During his stay in Venezuela, President Xu Jian visited the Ambassador and Economic and Commercial Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Venezuela.

During his trip to France, President Xu Jian conducted a site inspection at YTO France SAS, listened to a detailed report by YTO France SAS, and communicated with the company management, including the French management personnel.
